In 1929, many errors occurred during the harvesting of wheat in the Kegeily, Chimbay and Takhtakopyr regions. The searches were carried out in each family and even forced to hand over wheat to those who did not have land. The agrarian policy pursued by the Soviet authorities led to great dissatisfaction of the population and, ultimately, to mass uprisings. The leaders of this uprising were Abdujalil Makhsim Ismetullaev, Karimberdy Akhun Nurillaev, Barlikbay Nurimov.
During the trip, the information was taken from the resident of the Chimbay region of the Kenges village Orinbay Sulaimanov on the fellow countrymen who left abroad during the persecution of religious figures in the 1950s, the residents of the Tazgar village, Abdujalil Makhsim Ismetullaev’s children, Abdreyimov Zhamal, born in 1926, Abdireyimov Ziratdin, 1927 year of birth told about what they heard from their parents and saw about the events of the 1930s, the remains of the mosque where Abdikerim Akhun was teaching children were photographed.
In 1928 – 1929, in connection with the transition to Latin script, the Bolsheviks pursued a policy of destroying books and manuscripts written in Arabic. The old books preserved from that time, left by Almenov Khamid Abylpayiz’s ancestors (son of Supy Almen, brother of Makhsim Purkhan), a resident of Tazgar of the Chimbay region, were sent to the museum fund.
The work of the museum staff to enrich the museum exposition will continue among the population and in other areas, cities and towns of our republic.
