Recently, in a student dormitory of the Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, a meeting was held with senior officials of the citizens’ self-governing body number 12 “Kurylyshshy”.

The event, organized by the faculty of Karakalpak philology and journalism, was held under the motto “We are all responsible for educating young people!”, During which issues related to the interaction of the family, educational institution and waved were discussed.

A. Nyzanov, chairman of the citizens’ self-governing body number 12 “Kurylyshshy”, O. Durymbetova, mahalla adviser on women’s issues, A. Toreniyazov, preventive inspector, and G. Reimbaev, psychologist at KSU, took part in it.
The event was opened and hosted by I. Seitnazarova, chairman of the primary organization of the KSU Women’s Committee.

The event was also attended by the chairman of the primary organization of the Women’s Committee of the faculty of Karakalpak philology and journalism R. Sadykova, deputy dean for youth affairs Z.Zhumanov, teacher of the department of Karakalpak literature Zh. Sagidullaeva, teacher-educator of student dormitory number 1 S.Matzhanova and students of the faculty.

The main purpose of such events is to increase the role of the mahalla and the educational institution in the education of girls living in student dormitories, the prevention of offenses and the observance of public order, and meaningful leisure for young people.

During the meeting, students received answers to questions and expressed opinions and suggestions.
