On May 18, 2023, a scientific seminar was held with the participation of foreign scientists “Actual problems of entomological research in the Southern Aral Sea“, dedicated to the day of the 70th anniversary of the candidate of biological sciences, associate professor of the department “General biology and physiology” of the Karakalpak State University Koshchanova Roza Yerezhepovna.

Employees of research institutes of Russia, Kazakhstan, as well as our Republic and professors-teachers of higher educational institutions took part in the seminar with reports and congratulations. The main purpose of the seminar: is the results of entomological research conducted in the Republic of Uzbekistan and neighboring countries, the development of scientific and practical ideas and proposals aimed at solving environmental problems in the regions. Scientific presentations were made by Nikolai Andreevich Sobolev – Senior Researcher at the Institute of Geography, Russian Academy of Sciences, Lyudmila Borisovna Volkova and Masharipova Sultonposha. At the end of the seminar, the participants were able to get answers to their questions, expressed their thoughts and wishes.
