On May 24, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Aurelia Bouchez has visited Karakalpak State University in the frames of her visit to Republic of Karakalpakstan. At the beginning of the meeting, the guests were greeted by Rector of the University Akhmed Reymov, who acquainted them with the educational process of our University and the layout of the educational laboratory under construction for 1800 seats, as well as facilities and possibilities for students that will be created there.

Then, a round table discussion was held with the guests, during which there were discussed the issues on expanding the teaching of the French language among students of our University in the future, establishing the Language Learning Center, and there were reached mutual agreements on the joint development of research activities in various educational programs and specialties of higher educational institutions of France included in international rankings, along with this, academic exchange of students, the exchange of experience of professors and teachers, as well as summer practice at higher educational institutions in France for students studying French.

During the conversation, there were put forward the proposals on the purpose of cooperation in establishing joint projects in the near future with leading higher educational institutions, governmental and non-governmental institutions of France, which are leaders in the fields of scientific research to prevent environmental disasters that occurred as a result of the drying up of the Aral Sea and elimination of their negative consequences, which have now become an international global problem.During the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the work of the American, British and Korean Educational Centers organized for students at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of our University and had meetings with students.
