September 7th of the current year at the solemn ceremony which was held at the Polessky State University (The Republic of Belarus), the rector of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh A. Reymov, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, was awarded the title of “The honorary professor of the Polessky State University”. The honorable award was presented by Valery Ivanovich Dunai, Doctor of Engineering Sciences and the rector of the Polessky State University.

The award ceremony was attended by teachers and students of the Polessky State University as well as by students from Karakalpakstan who are studying at this university. Let us remind you that the official visit of the representatives of Karakalpak State University to Polessky State University was carried out on May 18th 2021, during that visit the universities signed a cooperation agreement. During the award ceremony Ahmed Mambekarimovich Reymov expressed the gratitude to the rector of Polessky State University and to all present for the trust placed in him and expressed readiness for further cooperation and experience exchange between the organizations.

During the previous visit an agreement was also signed with Belorussian State University, which resulted in achievements in the field of education and science that contributed in the development of international cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus. It is worth noting, that earlier A. Reymov was also awarded by the Medal “of Merit in development of Belorussian State Technological University.”
