KSU Students continue studies at Tianjin Normal University in China

Two students from the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, Gulzira Sagalatdinova and Shakhsanem Niyetbayeva, have been granted a unique opportunity to study in China. As part of an academic exchange program, they will spend two semesters of the 2024-2025 academic year at Tianjin Normal University. Their major is English Language and Literature, but they are also studying Chinese as a second foreign language. Studying abroad will allow them to broaden their language skills and immerse themselves in the rich cultural diversity of China.

The program offers not only academic benefits but also opens new horizons for professional and personal growth. Studying at Tianjin Normal University will enable Gulzira and Shakhsanem to deepen their knowledge of the Chinese language and culture, which is particularly important for future specialists in foreign languages and international communications. This experience will help them in their careers, giving them a competitive edge in the job market, as well as strengthening ties between Central Asia and China through educational and cultural exchanges.
