On January 15, at Berdakh Karakalpak State University, there was held a solemn event dedicated to the commissioning of a new modern 400-place student dormitory. It was attended by Chairman of the Committee of Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Murat Atamuratov, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Sarvarkhon Buzrukhonov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Bayram Otemuratov, the University community, veterans, professors-teachers, students and youth and representatives of the media.

First, Murat Atamuratov, Chairman of the Committee of Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, spoke and sincerely congratulated everyone on the opening of the new building, noting that under the leadership of our President, all conditions are being created for the education and social protection of the younger generation, and for them to grow up as well-educated people in the future, he also stated that particular attention is being paid to the education sector, including the issue of providing students with dormitories. Also, speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Sarvarkhon Buzrukhonov touched upon the importance of this major project. In his speech, he said that the new students’ hostel was built based on modern architectural standards and that all conditions were created for students, and he sincerely congratulated everyone on the opening of the new student accommodation.

After that, Director of “ELLIKQALA MAXSUS QURILISH” LLC G.Satymov, ceremoniously handed over the keys to the newly built student dormitory to Rector of Karakalpak State University, Academician Akhmed Reymov. During the event, the visiting guests got acquainted with the conditions of the student dormitory and talked with the students there around the table. Indeed, this is another vivid example of the favorable conditions created for young people in our country, the large-scale reforms being carried out to further improve the education system and improve the lives of students.
