These days, all the people of our country celebrate one of the most important dates in the public and political life of our state – the 27th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On December 2 of this year, at Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh there was widely celebrated the Constitution Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan – December 8.

The event was led by University Rector Akhmed Reymov. Head of the refereeing of the Republic of Karakalpakstan G.Bazarbayeva, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Karakalpakstan A.Uteuliev, associate professor of KSU K.Seytnazarov, student of KSU D.Lepesbayev spoke at the event and noted in their speech about the importance of the position of Independent Uzbekistan among the peoples of the world.

In fact, our basic Law is deeply rooted in our country along with the new path of development, the goals that we set and principles of human rights and freedom.

Today, on the basis of our Constitution, the national legal system has reached a deeper level in the reforms of all areas of our country. Most importantly, the socio-economic potential of our country and the firm faith of people in the future are growing.

Moreover, today our people, using constitutional rights in public and political life, along with expressing their civic positions, achieve high results in all sectors of the economy.

As you know, the elections to be held on December 22, 2019 to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jokargi Kenges of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and local Councils of People’s Deputies are an important socio-political event in the history of our country and life of our people. Because the future of our independent state and its further development depends on the active participation of all our citizens in the elections.

Thus, active participation in this political process is a civic duty of all people living in this country.
