As previously reported, today in the Muynak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the awarding ceremony of the “Student of the Year 2019” competition was held.

In the district’s Palace of Culture, the event began with the sounding of national anthems of the Republics of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan.

The event was opened by Yu.Absoatov, Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education for Youth and Information Technology. – It is important that the award ceremony was held in Muynak region. After all, the words of the respected president of our country, “Culture begins with Muynak,” are not accidental. Along the way, I learned a lot about the national heritage, monuments and culture of the people of Karakalpakstan. I was particularly struck by the song “Aydinlar”, which became a Karakalpak folk song,” says Deputy Minister Yu.Absoatov.
Then, all the winners of the competition were solemnly awarded the statuettes “Student of the Year – 2019”, diplomas and valuable gifts.

The ceremony was attended by the head of the department of spiritual and moral education of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan O.Kh.Bazarov, the director of the center of spirituality and education of the ministry O.Khudainazarov, representatives of the district hakimiyat, rectors of all universities of Karakalpakstan.

In addition, the rectors of all universities of Karakalpakstan presented books to schoolchildren of Muynak region.

Then all the participants of the event visited the IT district center “Future Muynak”, got acquainted with the opportunities created here.
In the afternoon, the event participants visited the “Ship Cemetery” and other sightseeing of the area.

The event in Muynak region, which is one of the remote areas of the country, left a lasting impression on all participants.
