On April 24 Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh hosted an international scientific and practical online conference titled “Actual problems of Philology and foreign languages.”

To ensure the active participation of teachers and students during the announced quarantine in our country, an international scientific and practical conference was held on the Zoom platform.

The videoconference was opened by the rector of Karakalpak State University, Professor A. Reymov.

As you know, today in our country special attention is paid to teaching and learning of foreign languages.

Calling of the present era is cooperation with foreign countries, occupying a place among developed countries, not only training specialists in foreign languages, but also studying foreign languages by highly educated specialists in different fields.

The conference was held internationally and received more than 180 scientific articles from scientific researchers of the Russian Federation, South Korea, Thailand, Poland and Germany, as well as higher educational institutions of our country.

At the conference, actual problems of the English, German, Russian and Korean languages, comparative linguistics, theory and practice of translation, literary studies, modern innovative technologies used in teaching foreign languages and teaching methods were analyzed, as well as conclusions and recommendations were made at the end of the conference.
