LESSON HELD IN MUSEUM

On January 23 of this year, a visiting lesson on the subject “History of Uzbekistan” on the topic “Politics of repressions of the Soviet power in Uzbekistan, its essence and consequences” for students of grades 10 “a” and “b” of the Presidential School was held at the Museum of Memory of the Victims of Repression at the Karakalpak State University in Nukus. The lesson was taught by a history teacher Zulfiya Tazhetova.

Then, the director of the Museum of Memory of the Victims of Repression at Karakalpak State University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, docent A. Kudiyarov noted that the Museum of Memory of the Victims of Repression was created on the initiative of the President of the country Sh.M. Mirziyoyev and spoke about the role of the museum in educating young people improving this museum.

During the lesson, the museum worker Ansatbai Alimbetov acquainted with the departments of the museum, spoke about the historical significance of each exhibit.

The visiting lesson was attended by the methodologist of the Presidential School Amangul Mambetnazarova, the academic director of the school Franky Nelson Stephanson, a teacher from Canada Giselle Dumm.

The students transferred to their foreign teachers the information received from the teacher and the museum worker about the exhibits. In turn, foreign guests expressed interest in the history of our region.
