KSU STUDENTS HAVE MADE THEIR PROPOSALS AT THE MEETING WITH PRESIDENT

On January 31, 2020, at the Committee of Geology, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with scientists working in the field of mathematics, chemistry, biology and geology, researchers and advanced students of higher educational institutions.

The meeting was also attended by teachers and students of Karakalpak State University. At the meeting, full of lively discussions and exchange of views, teachers and students of the University also made suggestions.

In particular, Associate Professor of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry Department of the University, PhD M.Allaniyazova proposed allocating targeted quotas for the Republic of Karakalpakstan according to plans for admission to the bachelor’s, master’s and postgraduate institutes of leading scientific and higher educational institutions of the city of Tashkent, as well as providing special housing for students and researchers from remote regions of the country.

The third-year student of the Faculty of Mathematics of the University K.Sarsenbayev took the initiative to hold international subject Olympiads in mathematics, chemistry and biology in the city of Nukus. The third-year student of the Faculty of Biology E.Zhangabayeva proposed to create a scientific-research laboratory of bio-ecological researches on the basis of Karakalpak State University, which will allow for an in-depth study of the ecology of vegetation in the Aral Sea region.

Our honorable President responded positively to these proposals and recommendations, supported them all and, having comprehensively analyzed in depth, gave detailed instructions for their implementation.
