On February 20, 2020, an event for teachers and students on the topic “Extremism and terrorism as a threat for the future of youth” and “Peace is the highest wealth” was held at the Palace of Culture of the University.

The event was opened by Acting Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs of Karakalpak State University I.Jumaniyazov, who introduced the participants with the agenda. In his speech, I.Jumaniyazov noted about serious crimes that damage our civilian lives and lead to death of our people, destruction of cities and villages, and also about need to organize regular and effective awareness-raising and propaganda activities among young people.

Head of the “Nuroniy” Foundation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Senator Sh.Usnatdinov, member of the Association of Education Propagandists Sh.Ayapov, employee of the Office for Combating Terrorism and Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan N.Toreshov, Deputy of the Muslim Mosque named after Imam Ishan Mohammed of the city of Nukus A.Jolaushiev, member of the Association of Education Propagandists, retired lieutenant colonel M.Musaev and others attended the event and made presentations..

The speakers emphasized the need to prevent and combat the most pressing problem of today, which is poisoning the worldview of our youth.

During the event, issues of education and behavior of students were discussed.

Participants received detailed answers to their questions.
