On June 9, 2023, on the occasion of the youth month, a festival called “We are children of one family!” was held at Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh. It was attended by Head of the Karakalpak Regional Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan N. Kayupov, Rector of our University Akhmed Reymov, all the vice-rectors, deans of faculties and students.

   Rector of Karakalpak State University Akhmed Reymov opened the festival and congratulated the students on the holiday. In his speech, he said that representatives of more than 16 different nationalities study at our University, as one family, on equal terms and by mutual consent, and also noted that our state has created all the conditions to ensure their rights and freedom, education, upbringing and vocational training, as well as the preservation and development of cultures, customs and traditions.

   Then Head of the Karakalpak Regional Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations N. Kayupov had a speech, he noted the special attention of our esteemed President to the field of education in our country, his concern for getting higher education by our youth, and also about that our society has created ample opportunities for young people who want to study and get an education, and congratulated all the students on June 30, the Day of Youth.

   In the frames of the festival, the guests watched competitions, sports competitions and visited the exhibition of young artists, and also became participants in competitions together with students. As part of the festival, students actively participated in psychological training, the exhibition of young artists, master classes in playing various musical instruments, sports competitions (basketball, volleyball and badminton), Karaoke-Party, Flashmob, and friendly football matches. The festival continued with a concert program prepared by talented students of the Faculty of Fine Arts of our University, a youth disco and a cultural and entertainment program.

   Indeed, in our country the principles of interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, the comprehensive development of nations, the preservation of their national characteristics are decisive, all opportunities have been created for the development of customs and traditions in our country, which, in turn, strengthens the interethnic harmony of our multinational people and serves prosperity of our Motherland in the world.
