After the announcement of important long-term tasks at a meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the President of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed to declare 2025 the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy. This once again shows that for us, specialists, preserving our nature is the most important task.

On November 29, 2024, the “Green Space” campaign was held around the building of the Faculty of Biology of Karakalpak State University. The event was actively attended by the faculty, technical staff, tutors and students of the Faculty of Biology.

Around the faculty, 500 seedlings of decorative seedlings “Catalpa,” “Ailanthus” and “Japanese Saphora” were landscaped and planted. The nationwide project “Green Space” is important for our and your lives, serves to further improve a healthy lifestyle, purify the air. Therefore, we must all contribute to the transformation of our beloved Motherland into a green space!
