Our society conducts a wide range of activities aimed at creating a healthy lifestyle, creating the necessary conditions for the regular involvement of the population, especially the younger generation, in physical education and mass sports, strengthening youth confidence in their will, strength and potential through sports events, courage and patriotism, the development of physical culture and mass sports, as well as the systematic organization of the selection of talented athletes among young people. In particular, the high results of our country’s representatives at the Olympic, world championships, Asian Games, increasing the prestige and sports potential of Uzbekistan in the world, the construction of modern sports facilities in the regions of our country, as well as the growing popularity of “Umid Nikhollari”, “Barkamol Avlod” and Universiada deserve attention.

As you know, according to the Order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.927 dated to October 12, 2018, the Universiada regional qualifying round of volleyball was held on October 27-29 in the city of Navoiy.

As a result of the game, the team of young men and girls from Karakalpakstan won the victory over their peers from the Khorezm, Navoiy and Bukhara regions and reached the republican stage of the final.

Of course, the organization of such sports competitions is designed to increase the importance of mass sports in the life of a person and family, the basics of their physical and spiritual well-being, to protect young people from bad habits, to create the necessary conditions for revealing their abilities and identifying talented athletes among them.
