On January 7 of this year, in order to increase the level of knowledge of student youth, to prepare them with qualified personnel in their specialty, a meeting of 3rd year students of the Faculty of Geography and Natural Resources with specialists of the Ustyurt Exploratory Drilling Department took place.

The purpose of the meeting is to familiarize students with their specialty, increase their knowledge and skills, strengthen their theoretical knowledge in practice. The meeting was attended by the chief specialist of the Ustyurt exploration drilling department K. Babazhanov, the head of the cement and drilling mud preparation laboratory B. Aymanov, the dean of the faculty N. Embergenov and a number of university teachers.

During the event, specialists using laboratory devices, in particular the cone of AzNII, KTs-5, electronic scales, Igla-viki and others, clearly explained the preparation of the cement mortar.

Such meetings contribute to increasing students’ interest in the future profession.
