The “Universiada-2020” sports games in 12 sports were scheduled in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Tashkent and all regions of our country. That is, the holding of each kind of sport will be in the planned manner.

On January 27-30 of this year, in the city of Gulistan of the Syr Darya region, the competition “Universiada-2020” in badminton took place.

The students of our University A.Jabbarberdiev, R.Abibullaev and N.Aytmuratov in the national team of Karakalpakstan showed good results.

Nelufar Aytmuratova also took 3rd place in singles, and members of the national team of Karakalpakstan on badminton won 2nd place in the overall standings.

Of course, we wish all our sportsmen success in the upcoming sports competitions.
